Solace Rose is a year-round K–8 school rooted in academic excellence, emotional safety, cultural affirmation, and the radical belief that girls deserve to be fully seen. We bring STEAM, leadership, identity, and wellness together because none of them should be an afterthought.

Comfort in difficult places. A promise that every girl will have room to take risks because she feels safe, known, and held.
Rose
A living legacy. Named in honor of founder Chéla Wallace’s late grandmother, Rosetta, whose story continues to inspire a future in STEM, service, and possibility.

Across nearly two decades as an educator, STEM strategist, researcher, and school leader, Chéla has worked alongside thousands of students and educators. One truth has stayed with her. Girls are too often underestimated or offered too few opportunities to discover their own brilliance. Solace Rose exists to change that story.
The school draws on her experience designing innovative learning systems across the United States and internationally, but its heart is personal. It is a legacy for girls who deserve to create boldly, think critically, and lead with care.
Brilliance is nurtured.

We do not ask girls to choose between being cared for and being challenged. The Solace Rose model expects both.
